top ready

My top is ready. The size is now 75,5 x 57,5 inch.
Now I have to make the back where I shall add the letters.

All suggestion for machine quilting are very! welcome.

The blocks are cut straight and ready to sew together, they are 9 ".

6x8 :) for # 027

Yesterday I finished sewing the raw blocks. Here are 6 piles of 8 blocks.
Today I shall cut them straight into 9 1/2 "squares and hopefully start to sew them together.

I have made a start with sewing blocks from the fabrics shown here.
Not easy to sew 'wonky' for a 'sane' quilter over 20 years.
But it feels very liberated ;-))
I have sewn 30 blocks now, 18 to go!
The quilt is for DD2 to use on the couch in her living room. I have cut up all the beige I found in my stash, included old kitchen curtains and a shirt. Turquoise for an accent from 2 blouses and one skirt. I am sewing 027 Roman Stripes.
