Cables would be great on that inner border. Looks wonderful so far. I'm still at the same point, I have the center pieced and no letters built! But I did clean out some projects from my sewing room this weekend. Maybe this week?? I think I have a fear of failure on making the letters so I keep putting it off. I've never tried this free form work before.
