Inside Out Crazy Star No. 59

This was fun. It is the opposite of the Crazy Star in Plate 59- the crazy is in the star, not the back ground. I like this method of making a star- it somehow makes more sense to me. I have to decide borders- it is 50 inches by 65 inches right now, so a bit big for the lap but too small for the bed. Yellow? Just more purple, in other shades because that is what I've got?

It's always nice to use what you've got, but I vote yellow, because I think the contrasting colour would really complement the quilt top. This is really, really beautiful!

Love how you've played with the original inspiration and made it your own! I'd use a bit more purple, then maybe a stringy border. The purple will be great for some fancy quilting. LOVE IT :)

fabulous! very lively. some zing on the outer edges would be wonderful BUT I can see how continuing on with purple keeps the star the focal point. Will be fun either way.

This is so pretty! I love how you kept the outside points in greens and blues. The oranges and reds are super!
