The First Block is the Hardest

It's so long since I've "stitched and flipped" that I forgot how to do it.

Anyway, here is the first block.

The original colour scheme has gone out of the window.  I'm cutting more colours to add.  I'm working on the principle that no block is going to be the same, apart from the blue centre and the purple on the corners.

Not too sure at the moment. Concentrating on trying to remember how to do it!

I like the idea of the blue stripe and purple corners, I can't wait to see how it all runs together. Way to go girl, do your thing!

it's a fun start. and I think it doesn't matter how many folks do Roman stripe -- they must all have good taste like you!
