My first test Hole in the Barn Door blocks...

I made these both at the same time. I think I  have cut the corner triangles a bit too small... but it was the first time I tried this so I am not too worried about it. I am thinking I might trim them down much smaller and make a bunch of different sized batik ones for a quilt.

I am still waiting for my solids to get here.  I am getting excited about it.

Oh, these are great! They just glow with that batik. I think your corners look just fine, BTW!

These are fine,I don't think the corner triangles are too small. If you mix them with other blocks, it might look interesting, beautiful batiks btw

Wonky is best and these are definitely wonky. I wouldn't make them any smaller.

The colours glow. Wonderful!

ooh, these are great. I like the size of the triangles just fine and they'd look great in a mix with other blocks that had some large corner triangles - great diversity.
