a little start

I plunged into my precious Cherrywood fabric Scrap bags (small pieces, but a nice variation in colors) and started cutting.

My "stash" is small, so I am aiming for a small crib size quilt. Here is my blocks so far:

Not sure about layout, yet. I have some different ideas to try out. I would like to keep it simple...

Since I don't have any bigger pieces of the Cherrywood, I will probably throw in some Kona cotton for borders and more.

it's beautiful. I love how you've combined the fabrics. the darker gray for the triangles with the lighter gray for the straight parts.
